The Friends of Clarks Ferry Tavern
The Friends of Clarks Ferry Tavern, a not-for-profit organization in Duncannon, Pennsylvania, is dedicated to the restoration of Clarks Ferry Tavern, a 1789 landmark building known as the “Gateway to the West.” The restoration and responsible management of the Tavern, and the half-acre Tavern Green on which it resides, will provide opportunities for education, conservation, and community revitalization in the Central Pennsylvania area.
